What to Expect

Just scheduling your first therapy appointment is huge! One of the most important factors in the therapy process is that you feel comfortable with your therapist. I believe therapy should be a partnership between the therapist and client and we will work that way from our first meeting. 

 

The first session is for us to get to know each other. During this time, I will ask you some questions and invite you to ask me any questions you might have. We will go over your goals and the different paths we might take to reach them. I will also go into more detail about the types of therapy I practice, and we will decide the best plan to help you start to feel better.
